    SUMMARY:

    As we continue to build out our development team in Denver, CO, we are looking for this key role to provide DevOps support for our SaaS platform. You’ll have a broad base of experience in the infrastructure development and operations of mission critical enterprise SaaS web applications. You know your way around deployment automation, continuous integration, and performance monitoring and alerting. You understand horizontal scaling and load balancing as well as the infrastructure and software architectures that support these capabilities. If you are highly self-motivated and passionate about building, scaling, and running a mission critical SaaS platform, we’d love to have you join our team. Our team practices a highly collaborative agile development methodology and the right candidate will have a passion for building and operationally supporting our platform using agile methods such as Scrum and XP.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Collaborate with other developers, product managers, QA and stakeholders
    • As a DevOps engineering, participate in the team’s agile methodology for developing software and infrastructure
    • Participate in the development of the architectural roadmap for the technology platform as we scale and grow the platform
    • Investigate and research new technology tools and frameworks and report on findings
    • You know your way around a Wiki and write documentation where appropriate

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years in the development and operations of enterprise SaaS web applications
    • Demonstrated experience in maintenance, deployment, and operations of enterprise web applications
    • Strong system administrator experience (Windows or Linux) and TCP/IP networking skills
    • Strong background in either C# or Java
    • Experience configuring and deploying applications such as IIS, SQL Server, Tomcat, DNS, DHCP, Software Load Balancers
    • Experience with continuous delivery and agile practices
    • Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as ESX, Hyper-V, AWS
    • BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
    • Healthcare industry experience is a big plus
    • Must have:
      • The ability to work closely with technical and non-technical colleagues
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills; you can express your ideas in an open and collaborative environment
      • A willingness to adapt to changing business goals and employ creative thinking to solve problems
      • A preference for agile development: lightweight documentation, iterative development and high verbal communications
